JHHS is a quarterly publication composed of peer-reviewed: (1) empirical research articles, (2) scholarly essays, and (3) review pieces in the areas of communication, ethics, journalism, political science and other disciplines that address issues and topics relevant to the global hip hop community. As the flagship publication of the Hip Hop Journalism Association, JHHS reaches out to a national audience of academic faculty members, students, and media professionals.
